Yixing Teapot???

    Hi All,

    I'm new here but need some advice please! now I have come by a Teapot, apparently it is a Yixing Teapot. I have been offered a large amount of money for it but I really would like to know more about it as he seemed overly keen? thanks guys, would love to know more about it!

    The base is quite scratched and it feels old. The gentleman that offered me the money saw it in hand, but I didn't want to accept an amount without knowing more about it :)
