Zuni? Maker's Mark?

Picked these up in a sterling lot I bought. There seems to be similar ones by different makers online. I checked the Native American hallmark site, I don't see this mark. Any thoughts as to origin and/or maker? Thanks.

They’re lovely. IMO they’re pretty traditional 80s forward modern Zuni. Lots of smiths do similar work. I’d certainly have no problem buying them as NA but being kosher IF selling on the internet IMO they cannot be called Zuni but Southwestern multistone inlay sterling earrings signed etc. The yellow may be spiny oyster. It’s such a small section that it’s not showing striations in the pic. Here’s a similar yellow Zuni inlay:

I saw the earrings you posted. I think the design is copied a lot searching the internet. The earrings were marked $18, got them cheaper because I made a pile of sterling, paid $50 for the lot.

    I agree 100%

id have no problem buying them as NA. Just because I can’t find the mark and attribute it to a NA maker, doesn’t mean they were not made by a NA artist. Same for unsigned pieces

if that were the case, some of the best NA works ever made would not receive the proper respect they demand, as signatures were not common until the more contemporary “retail” era

They probably are Native. Those inlay cabochons are prefab; the artist bought them that way and just affixed them to earring back he/she made.

I collect NA and 50s/60s Mexico. I own very few signed NA pieces and I prefer the older work so none of my pieces are signed except a couple of 80s pieces.
