    Is 985 gold the italian version of 14k

    14k is 585. We only wish they made export pieces out of 985 gold!

    There used to be 935 silver in some countries, maybe your piece is 935 silver gilt?

    935 silver is still used in many countries,in the states it is marked 925. It is Argentium silver with anti tarnish alloys.
