Featured A strange decoration.

Please tell me what this decoration is for. The neck will be short. Like a bracelet is also very strange. The width of the lock is 35 mm.

 

I suspect it came off a handbag.

 

Somebody lost some beads and tried to repair?

I don't think it's a handbag thing. The male and female clasp kind of rules that out to me. \

Could that little Pinwheel looking design on the clasp be a makers mark?
I'm lost on this one.!

 

The clasp/lock is fairly large and dominant -- it seems that it would be part of the design of whatever it goes with. And the beads are almost like a contrast to it... just musing here. I have no new ideas about it! I also think that the design on the clasp could be a maker's mark. If anybody can identify the company that made it, that would help.

 

That looks like a wreck just waiting to happen!

 

It seems to me that this is Czech crystal.
