I bought this little lot on eBay c£10 with the postage, mainly because my OH wanted the Fordson badge. Turns out there are lots of bits of silver and gold in there, hallmarked gold jump rings and wire earrings and random scraps of silver.
Also this pendant. Mary says Amethyst even though it’s quite pale.
Any idea of age or origin please?
To my uneducated eye it looks well made but the reverse is a puzzle to me as it’s only got that little hole in the centre of the two hoops to attach anything. Too small to get anything other than a very very fine chain through.
It tests as silver with presumably a gold wash originally.
The little bobbles around the outside are hollow except the bottom two.
    Approx 1.5cm tall so tiny.
    Any ideas please?
    Thankyou for looking :)

    Amethyst certainly!
Depending of the size, it could have been a stick pin head, the needle fixed in the tube at back.
Victorian one, machine age style, with these block prongs:)

It could also be a necklace enhancer.

I'd put odds on it being a piece of a stick pin, but now it's a mess-with-me.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Pretty! In any case, if you can find a pin for it you have a nice piece of jewelry to wear... or to give, or to sell.
