    Hi Everyone,

I managed a few small items today. Both are Alvin Sterling "Southern Charm" flatware. My question, is what would these be used for? My first thought for the spoon was for butter, but I'm clueless for the fork:

Yes she is. And just in case, the "jelly" referred to is things like jellied cranberry sauce (the kind that comes in a can - Yuck.)

Thank you Cheryl! I didn’t think about jellied items that’s for sure! And just how do you use a lemon fork? Is it just to grab hold of a lemon wedge for a drink?

Well....no...more like 'clicking' around and this ( left ) came up as a butter pat spoon...kinda looks the same...no ?

and those silly forks....are mislabeled a lot....

    upload_2018-9-9_18-48-21.jpeg

but several show up as pickle forks ...so I went with that !

Sure looks like I was in error.........but that's cool......

Ah. Those darned southerners. That's probably what the owner told them. In fact, until today I don't believe I've ever seen a jelly server referred to as a "butter pat spoon." Maybe the family used it for that purpose instead of getting a proper master butter knife. ;)

There was really nothing to "forgive." We all learned something today.

I don't need to forgive at all. When you first wrote what it was I thought "i'm going to go eat some mini pickles with this mini fork!" I just appreciate peoples willingness to help on this site.
