Hi everyone!! I found this pendant 4" down under rock in Harmony, PA. Any ideas what it is and the date range? Any help that you can provide is really appreciated.

WAG, looks like a glass cameo from the middle of the 20th century in a home made setting.

Cool find. All we’ve found metal detecting so far is a button, some old nails and a bullet

Marie's WAG is on the money. Cameo is glass, in a mount similar to wire wrap ones we still see, except in much heavier gauge metal. The cameo imitates hardstone ones of a type I call noblewomen that began to appear late in the 19th century & continued on into the 20th. My guess is that it is a bit earlier than mid-century. 1930s?

Another name for what I know as a dibble? I always think it is such a fun word.

    One and the same-

    A straight dibber
A dibber or dibble or dibbler is a pointed wooden stick for making holes in the ground so that seeds, seedlings or small bulbs can be planted. Dibbers come in a variety of designs including the straight dibber, T-handled dibber, trowel dibber, and L-shaped dibber.

Aha - a pokey thing! I was going to comment on the cameo, but there's no need.
