Any ideas on who made this thrifty pendant?

Owliza I really DO keep my tree up a bit too long...

I got this pretty copper? brass? MOP pendant today at the thrift. It is about 1 3/4 inches in diameter. I can't decide whether the indents on the edge were intended originally.

it ain't new, but it could be reasonably recent and I have no idea what it is. If anybody has any thoughts on age/origin I would love to know anything. Thanks in advance!!!

The mother of pearl? discs certainly don't look original.

I agree- I don't mind them though. I tried to get a look underneath with my loupe but no dice. I am assuming they are glued but they did it quite neatly as it can't be spotted
