Featured Art Deco Pin

    I believe this is period art deco, what do you all think?

    It is 3.5 inches wide, and has an older lever-type clasp that seems a cross between a lever and rollover. The clasp has 1 knob, pulls back to close, pushes forward halfway to open. There are some very faint letters on the clasp which I think say Pat Reg.

    This type of clasp is early 20th century. An attempt at improving the simple C clasp that I have found to be less secure. Gravity is working against their staying locked. Handsome pin.

    If I see it right, it indicates that a patent for the clasp is pending, not the whole pin.

    The first part is PAT. The second part is very faint. I think it is REG, but could be PEND.
