    Hey,
Can anyone advise me on these blown glass items. I know they are MURANO style pieces but I do believe any true Murano would be signed and none of these pieces have a makers mark. It’s quite difficult to determine the value of each piece with so many different types and styles of blown glass available and prices that vary so much...confused! Maybe someone is more familiar with them and can steer me in the right direction

LOz, the glass experts will be able to tell more about these from the way the BOTTOMS are finished... Can you add some photos of the bases of all the bowls?

Yes--bottoms please. Plus just an FYI--many Murano pieces had a foil label (often gone) so being signed (by hand) is not a prerequisite.

Bottom left, the pink and yellow lobed, is Sklo Union, Josef Hospodka for Chribska.

Here are the bases and also I’ve added one more piece which has a half moon type Pontil. All others except the blue piece have very smooth perfect bases. The blue piece has a slightly tougher area, almost a pinch where it finishes. All of these pieces have been hand work after the basic shape was made. These were all stuck up on a pontile rod to allow the needed reheating to manipulate the glass. The pontile mark would be ground off in some cases and and not completely in others. I most cases the grinding was to allow the item to sit flat. Look like Empoli area to me.

Remember that pressed and mold blown glass is also stuck up for hand working so pontile mark does not necessarily mean free hand blown.

Sorry I do not know any of them. Owenedbygear gave you one and she is the best with this kind of glass.

    Thank you. ;)

The other pink one may also be Sklo. The blue petal one is annoyingly familiar. I suspect the blue tri lobe is probably Italian, the irridescent one, on a second look, probably modernish Asian.
