Shade looks 1960s. Is it raw silk?

Isn't that all metal with enamel decor? It does not look "hand painted" to me.

Cloisonné enamel is created by soldering fine wire to create the raised outlines of the design and generally no indentation is created in the metal base. ... Champlevé enamel is created with indented areas which are carved or cast into the metal and then filled with the enamel.

Not sure if this is cloisonne or champleve, but it's one of them....I think cloisonne. With all the pitting, the colors, and the execution, I'm thinking it could be fairly old. The shade and rest of the lamp parts much newer I'd guess it was lamped in the 20th C... Otherwise it looks very nicely done. Wait for the more expert opinions / info.

I think it might be older and was made into a lamp. Could you show this area a little closer?
