Cloisonne Brass Bowl

    Hi all, I bought this bowl last week, it's not the sort of thing I usually go for, but I couldn't resist the colors.

    Am I right in thinking late middle of the 20th century? I assume made in China, there is a little sticker residue on the bottom, other than that, no sign of a mark. It measures 7" wide, 5-1/4" across opening and 2-1/2" tall.

    It's a beauty and going right into my hutch :)

    Yep, the purples and greens on the black background called to me ;)

    The really bold patterns are generally a little later so third quarter 20th century, or early 4th quarter.
