Featured David Duncan Douglas

Bought as most off my collection some time ago . Hand signed (detailed pictures show even the grafiet on the paper itself) print by this photographer . There's a similar one at the LACMA museum in Los Angeles and is put down as a Photo lithographic print . And even the sizes are the same as mine who is framed . So anybody any idea about even one sold somewhere and to what price ? Thanks

Those individual images do not look to be signed, but yours might come from a "deluxe" printing, or may have been available as individual prints at that time.

How do the sizes compare?

 

My sizes are the same as in the LACMA museum print .

 

How does the size compare to the portfolio prints?

 

These are the sizes at LACMA Image: 19 11/16 × 13 1/8 in. (50.01 × 33.34 cm)

But that's the image off the picture only so not the bigger paper it's printed on

 

I would guess that's the same size as the portfolio: 17 3/8 x 24 1 /2" borders included.

 

Maybe mine is from this portfolio and hand signed by the artist . Maybe a good plan to it take out off the frame to see the backside writing maybe ?

 

It wouldn't hurt to look, but in this instance there's a good chance you would find nothing. Might find a printer credit.
