    Hello,
I have tried so much to get good photos that show the stones or glass color. The 3 center ones are very inset and are yellow greenish. The end triangle ones are purple. Not marked and eye closure is gone. There are some yellow and green reflections on the metal.
I’m more trying to get the date. I’m trying to maybe guess who in my family owned it. Thank you in advance. 5E83E396-370C-4061-9369-64CC68C61B0F.jpeg A7DFD650-99B4-4325-A1D1-CD720F3E293E.jpeg B06B9236-0ED0-494A-8131-60DA524423C8.jpeg E3D0BD87-D965-4C09-BF20-F936806D017D.jpeg 02210D2F-99BE-4A50-88D8-3E9471636A9D.jpeg

    My guess is 1920s -1930s.
    Bar pin.
Maybe sterling, maybe 10k white gold. Any marks on the back?
Amethyst, peridot? Can't see the green color.

There are no marks. The center yellowy are very inset. I can only see with a loupe. Maybe I can get a picture through loupe. Since they are so inset it’s very dirty. Can I soak in water? Thank you @clutteredcloset49.

    It's already damaged.
I personally wash everything. I don't care what people say about getting things wet.
I use a squirt bottle of 50/50 ammonia and water. Have a small bowl with some Dawn detergent and water nearby.
Spritz it, drop it in the bowl, swish a few times, rinse and dab dry, leave on towel to finish air drying. Use lukewarm water, not hot.
    You are not soaking this.
DO NOT do this with pearls, opals, or anything you think the water may hurt, like cold painted items.

Can you damage things - sometimes. Usually not.
I prefer clean jewelry rather than wearing someone else's sweat.

I'm sure there are many on the board who will disagree with me.

A very pretty brooch, 1910s-1920s. Difficult to see if it is costume, I think it is, but best to have it tested.
    Totally agree.

Pleasure, Hunting. They are lovely. You can probably get the clasp on the first one repaired, the second one is a problem.:(

Thank you, Figtree! There’s a pair of shoe buckled too. I knew what they were thanks to one of your previous IDs. :)
