Featured Does this portrait sitter look familiar?

    IMG_8134.jpg IMG_8131.jpg IMG_8133.jpg I am trying to figure out who this sitter is? She looks so familiar to me. This was published March 1st 1912 by The Fine Art Society Ltd, 148 New Bond Street, London.

    The Tate seems sure the figure depicts 'Mrs Haller', a character in a play, but is not sure Mrs Siddons modeled for it? There is even a cameo of Sarah Siddons. Surely there are enough paintings & photos of her to make or refute the ID.

    Engraver sure made a lot of little changes to the image. Seems at the time it was accepted as being Mrs Siddons. Perhaps came into question later.
