    Hello everyone,
I wonder what is your opinion on the attached earrings, they don’t look enamelled to me, more like guilloche. The colours ranges from yellow, brown to purple.
They look Art Deco style to me, but I have a feeling they are not that old. the hallmark is either SO or SD in a circle 925, and another hallmark 2 with 000 under it inside a triangle. Can anyone recognise the maker ?
Does not look British to me.
    Many thanks.

Guilloche is enamel, it's simply a different technique. Those look very like a desginer called Sheila Fleet. If not her, one of the other good Orkadian or Scots makers.

It looks like there's a mark next to the 925. If I were the gambling type I'd bet on it being SU - i.e. made in Thailand. But there's a second triangle-shape mark on the opposite side that might tell us who it is... so of course I can't read it.

Guilloche is engine turned patterning. It's frequently associated with enamel, but not of necessity.

There are several marks, I have tried to replicate it on paper if it helps.
Please let me know your thoughts.

You are spot on, found them Sheila Fleet website.
Thank you so much, she describes them as enamelled.
Probably they are not too old either, considering they are still on the website.
Paid for them half of what they sell, I am very happy.
    Thank you all so much

Excellent. I thought I recognised it.

I absolutely love her stuff, I've far too much of it. I've even talked to her on the phone: a pair of earrings developed a small fault and she cheerfully took them back and mended them. You can order the pieces in customised colours. 2000 is the year, I think.

Her larger things and gold have full hallmarks.

Oh damn, now I'm browsing the website!
