I have no idea why I became so attracted to old sterling cigarette cases, but once I had a little disposal income I started buying them. I love ones with engraving, little messages and history. I use some of these as wallets as most will fit a credit card, license and cash! Here are some from my collection...

    Oh, goodness - how lovely!!!

I had a nice collection of sterling cigarette cases a few years back, but I sold them all when the prices were high.

In many ways, I regret having sold them, but I had no place to display them, and no actual "use" for them, so I suppose it made no sense to keep them. (I just keep telling myself that!)

    Karen, yours are exquisite!

My story is the same as SBSVC's ! I sold them when silver was at its peak, and have regretted it every since. I only have one left that I also use for credit cards, etc. Those are stunning !

    They're lovely....thanks for sharing.
I too had a time where I had to have the ones I had to have.
I've always been a British silver fan.....& other silver found it's way in the door.

    I've only sold one case I ever bought.....to help add $$$ for my wife's birthday gift. ......Shoulda kept it.......but alas...I didn't !
