A little background on this beautiful vase . I had admired it at my soon to be stepfathers home in Approx 1980 ish , he said it had been in his family for many years , belonged to his grandmother. One year he wrapped it and gave it to me for my birthday and said “ I believe if someone admires something so much , they should have it “ with that said I am finally able to display its beauty and of all the years I have looked at , never seen the initials / markings on the bottom…anyone have any ideas? It’s Approx 6.5 in tall . Thank you all very much … 227DBC4C-0AB4-4189-8FD5-4DF3679C163C.jpeg 404D8501-5377-41B3-8EB7-ACC6D94F2A7A.jpeg 27C08A9F-4659-4E2F-A006-31E26DE28000.jpeg 6023DC68-AED2-4242-9D6A-D91525F920CF.jpeg

Have you checked it with UV light to see how it reacts? I like it too, unusual.

Okay my stepdad got back to me with info, I think sometimes his memory is better than mine Lol! He gave this to me in 1979 , his “grandparents “ traveled often to Europe … France in particular, and indeed passed it along to him . So myself being relatively new to antique knowledge, could the 82 be a model number of sorts? Or just part of how this particular artist signed his/ or her work ? It truly is driving me nuts Lol! Do appraisers have this kind of knowledge? Any hoots if ( when ) I get to the bottom of this , I will give y’all an update

When I zoom, it looks like 62. The goblets look like 82.
Do you call this pulled feather? I saw a lot of it when I googled.
