Glassies,help with a vase?

    Hi all. Picked this gorgeous thing up today,not really knowing what it is! I thought a vase,then I thought maybe an oil lamp base,but I cant find anything quite like it either way. Its 7 1/2 inches at the widest point,5 high,and unsigned. If its Chinese,its a pretty one! Any input is always appreciated.
