Featured Gold in quartz stickpin, real?

    Just wanted some more opinions before trying to buy this pin. It looks good to me but then again I have seen fake gold quartz before.... Any input is appreciated! It also comes with a stickpin box from the late 1800s (not pictured).

    I would say it's questionable.It could just be the lighting in the photos,but it looks like different colored gold in spots,sharp edged pieces of quartz.see link.... https://www.goldbay.com/fake-gold-nuggets/

    even if it is a gold nugget.....u can't tell the karat.... or the weight.....
