Gold star silver jewellery?

    Hi again, trying to find out some info on a sterling silver ring, it's just marked GOLD STAR and 925. The only Gold Star I can find is a large international company who make quite fine diamond jewellery and my ring doesn't look to be their style. Any ideas please? I've no idea how old it is and am trying to figure out whether to list it on Etsy or ebay! It was with a bundle of jewellery from various decades.
