Help reading a sterling mark

    Hello,
    This is a 1" sterling napkin ring by Simons Brothers.
    The 2nd pic is marking from mine, the 3rd is another one I found the same however I'm not sure if reading mine correct.
    I had 5U8S and they say it's 503S ?
    Thoughts? Mine only partially stamped I'm thinking.
    I don't know what those numbers mean as I can't find nor does the other person have info. I'd like to find the year, trying..

    Those numbers following Sterling are design or inventory numbers and meant something only to the manufacturer. It is relevant only if you want to buy others to make a set.
