    Hi there,

My in-laws are in the process of moving house and as such are clearing out a few things. They have this piece of furniture with some very distinct markings that look like 3 rows of 2 letter J's. Can anyone tell me more about it? Era, style, maker, value etc...

    Many thanks in advance :)

Mahogany, 1950's is a good guess. Might well be custom made and the marking is part of that.

I agree, and its veneered, china cabinet.
In the UK the value is really low, no one wants them anymore.
I get many similar in house clearances and I can't give them away.

The mahogany veneer is nice, but I agree, not a whole lot of value to be realized as they aren't useful to many people. Where I am in Iowa, you might find someone who will pay $100 for it.
