Featured I thought it was worth a Euro, even if I didn't know the bead material

Ascension Day means a nearby Brocante, uninhabited by profession sales stalls.

Just as I was leaving, I spotted this necklace. It has been restrung on unknotted nylon, and some beads have been lost. I wasn't sure what the material was, but €1 didn't seem exorbitant for whatever they were.

There are 98-beads, the largest 10mm diameter down to 4mm. Length over the beads is 40.5cm. The clasp is silver coloured screw type, but there are no marks, other than two knurled bands, one on each end.

Having returned home and done some research, I think the beads might either Angel Coral Skin, or Pink Apple Cheek Coral.

What say the specialists? Is my guess correct, and how should it be treated? Something about this type of coral

I find the different background colours distracting, but I think they are strombus/conch shell beads.
Could we see a closeup of one or a few of the beads please?

cuz the orange looks like shell, but the pink, like coral...!!
