Went to an estate sale and walked into what looked like a barn over filled with dust and junk. Five minutes in, and I was holding a 1939 English version of Mein Kampf, this bangle and a small stone egg with a three bird stand. The book lasted 15 hr on ebay and sold. The egg was just a cute stand, but I can not ID this bangle? Appears stone in every way. Anyone see this item before?

    thanks.....

(add image of egg for fun ;))

It sort of looks like black coral but I don't think it is

    Could be anthracite (hard coal).

That's what I thought, but I can't imagine how they would make a black coral bangle without a seam.
Very cute.:) Is it green fluorite?

I know! Only with a silver or gold band to hide the seam.
Or the curly ones from the Moluccas, this is one of mine:

Wow, I never knew jewelry was made from coal before. It is fairly light but strong as steal IMO. I know this wasn’t the brightest thing to do but I put a flame on it for a few minutes to see if it would burn :nailbiting: but not even a smidgen of change on the surface, whew....... it did transfer heat along the ring well but again not as well as metal. Yes, It wasn’t the best path to go but for $1, it was a path. There does seem to be many angled slices to round it out for comfort. Still lost.

:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: I wouldn’t know fluorite, from fluowrong.
but I respect your guess over many, fluorite it is :D <—(just look at those choppers.)

I had placed a flashlight behind it to give a more representation of what it looked like in person as without the light it appeared falsely opaque, which it is hardly at all(image below). It is very pale and transparent like glass at areas. *shrugs*

ps, thank you both for helping
