Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Specific item that I'm interested in seeing if anyone knows what it is....It's listed with some other 'metal objects', and it resembles some sort of shooting mechanism...what's printed on it is a couple of illegible words, but "PISTOL" is in LARGE print!! VERY STRANGE looking........to ME!!!

It's on Page 6 (that's with 40 items per page), and it's Lot #231!! I've NOT seen one like it before, so anxious to see if anyone might know!! THANK YOU as always for at least looking!!And here it is in the LOT and individually:
(BTW, looks like they have a LOT of "Good Stuff" at this auction!!)

I wonder if they've got the handle for the pistol pictured in a list of "wooden objects".

Wonderful little piece, tickles the Steampunk in me.As a matter of fact, the famous Dunhill Lighter Co. was paying homage to an even earlier version of the Pistol Lighter-an 18th Century one-
