    Wonderful, so it is amber!:happy:
    I should have stuck to my initial thought, but that bluish green fluorescence threw me off. I have never seen that colour fluorescence on cognac amber before, and it isn't in the usual lists, but I will add it to my fluorescence file.

    Yes. Absolutely. I don't think I am quite brave enough to purchase amber online. It is difficult to tell from photos. Having said that some sites seem more reputable than others. I do study the reviews very closely
    You did say amber straight up :happy:

    I was very satisfied by this vendor. The color was as advertised and the pendant beautifully polished. It passed the black light test. I bought a similar piece in St. Petersburg Russia but I was unhappy with the findings and the color. I sold that piece for what I paid for it and bought this piece online instead. I have several amber pieces and I now am looking for specific colors. That’s why I went online.
