Featured Italian silver ''800''vases.

    Hello to everyone .I want to show two vases made in Italy, maybe someone will like it, for me it is an unusual combination of silver and ceramics. .Two vases has marks-''800'' ,''FI''-Firenze and number ''56'' maker's mark .Thank you for looking. IMG_6386.jpg IMG_6390.jpg IMG_6389 (1).jpg

    Agree, shape is of a ewer .Usually a lot of combination of bronze, brass with ceramics, silver and ceramics are not so often seen.

    If 56 is the maker, which is likely, it is Leopoldo di Amato Rafanelli.
    You'll often find the name written as Rafanelli Leopoldo di Amato.
    According to this site they started in 1935 and went out of business between 1955 and 1971:
