I am not certain is it japanese, chinese or vietnamese, the shape reminds me some of chinese and vietnamese martaban jars, but the colour and this dripped glaze turns me towards japanese shigaraki wares or awaji ceramic, I am also close to thinking, that this may be art nouveau piece because of the simplicity of line and oriental taste. Jar is large ( 40 cm heigh) and very heavy, part of glaze has tiny holes and bubbles and the surface is bumpy, irregular. It has also some parts with visible clay, may there be spur marks? I have no idea is it good or bad direction at all, need some help, please. 20190826_073944_resize_34.jpg 20190826_092345-01_resize_80.jpg 20190826_091837_resize_67.jpg 20190826_091940_resize_71.jpg 20190826_092141_resize_36.jpg 20190826_092009_resize_94.jpg 20190826_092136_resize_68.jpg 20190826_092258_resize_89.jpg 20190826_092228_resize_76.jpg 20190826_092221_resize_74.jpg

Very nice, it is certainly based on Martaban type storage jars.
I love the way the loops have been turned into little scrolls.

I’m not usually a fan of drip glazes, but this one is stunning. Unfortunately, I have no idea of whodunnit.

Can't help you much. 99% sure this is not Awaji. Think pretty new and Asian. Like you the form and handles make me think Viet Nam. The glaze, not so much. Very well could be from China.
