    A1.jpg A2.jpg A4.jpg a6.jpg A5.jpg a7.jpg a8.jpg a9.jpg A1.jpg A2.jpg The Serving spoon is Very ornate and Hand Crafted .
    It is 10 inches Long
The Bowl is 3 inches Wide
It is marked 900 on the side of the bowl.
    It weighs about 95 gms
Any ideas as to its age use or origin would be very helpful
    Thanks in advance

normally I'd think Russian niello serving spoon, but that 900 ? German ? where did you get it ?

Perhaps you could post a straight on image of the whole spoon - kind of difficult to piece it together from various bits, can't even make out what the finial looks like. Can't say I see any niello-work, but from what I do see, looks like an Asian rice spoon/ladle, would probably guess Cambodian (if so, should know that their silver isn't always the fineness indicated)...

We do need to see the whole thing. If Asian I bet @Any Jewelry knows whodunnit. My first guess would be Peranakan due to sheer output.(LOL)

Agree with DragonflyWink, it is a Cambodian rice spoon, and the silver doesn’t look right for 900 fineness...:cyclops:

Another agree from me, and it is a beauty.
They used a lot of 800, didn't they? Maybe a gentle wipe will bring out the silver more? Don't overpolish it, it doesn't have to look brand new.:)
