I nearly put this back on the table, then I spotted the metal frame with the holes in in that I believe is one of the ways to identify MH. Very cheap so no worries if not!
It’s large at 5.5cm long with glass pearls wired on to a frame.
Research tell me that between 1930-40 ish the holed frame was covered by a solid back plate and that early examples are not marked.
So could this be MH? Presumably other makers used this construction method too
    Any other identifying signs?
The clasp is a replacement and there is only a fragment of the original left.
    Thanks for looking :)

The front looks right but the back isn't anything of hers I've ever seen, not that I've seen everything.

And those pearls with the damaged finish will be a problem :(

I’m not too bothered by that, I just like learning about things. I don’t pay enough to be too picky :hilarious:

I’ve just had a thought that it was a dress clip that the clip snapped off rather than a brooch.

The pinback looks original. Those backs were used when dress clips were made; I'd bet it was part of a set of three, one pin and two clips or a set of four with earrings. The marks may have been on the other pieces.
