    Screenshot_2018-01-13-17-26-00.jpeg Hi
Can anyone tell me if this 50's/60's gold brooch is Norwegian? It looks similar to the modernist wave. No marks/hallmarks.
    Thanks

Without marks it will be difficult to identify. It doesn't look Norwegian Modernist to me.
    Why Norway?

It looks like it was pieced together by an amateur, sloppy solder joints, solder ball on left side.A photo of the back might help.

Agree, not the best work I've seen, although it is pretty.
But certainly not what I'd expect from Norway. Norwegian goldsmiths were asked to work for Fabergé because of their quality craftsmanship.

All I know is that it's 18ct gold with 2 rubies. Someone mentioned the swirly lines resemble some modernist Norwegian jewellery. Grasping at straws basically.

The style is more like Retro - 40s, 50s. But it could have been made later, even as recently as 2017.;)

I immediately saw a deconstruction of the Fleurs de lis.
    Anyway, beautiful.

Actually it is stamped 750 for 18k and a very vague name next to the 750 stamp, tiny, impossible to make out.

Can you sketch the name out? Might give a clue.

I've never seen a stamp so small. A pencil lead would be impossible to use on it...but good idea! I can vaguely make out the 750 with a 40x loupe. Thanks
