Now that I've given them away, what were they? Jewish Shabbat candlesticks

These were found at a tag sale and sold as old Shabbat candlesticks. I passed them along to a local Jewish lady, Orthodox, whose grandson is an Orthodox rabbi who was looking for old Judaica. I asked G-d what to charge for these and He (or She) said "those are mine, not yours; you can't sell them." So I essentially sent them home. ....and almost managed to forget to take any photos at all. They were fairly thin brass, and hollow, and almost had to be Eastern Euopean and pretty darned old. They were also made in two pieces. The bases were a bit out of round, no surprises there. (I uploaded these from my tablet and dang that's a pain.)
