This is a very nice oil of sailboats. I’m having trouble with the signature. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks 9787831D-5448-4E19-B17A-80D0CD35AC15.jpeg 165C2CE6-ED02-4353-9DB5-70AB276CCE5E.jpeg 9787831D-5448-4E19-B17A-80D0CD35AC15.jpeg

Looks like your painting, or one like it, sold at EBTH. They interpreted the sig. as G. Broidl.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I think you are on to something, once again! I looked at several versions of his signature and this seems in line with the style. From what I can tell, he lived from 1889-1974.
