On the website that Debora linked you to, at the bottom is a line drawing of the jack and Lever it comes with. Any old piece of rebar might work, but a cast one might not bend while in use. You could ask them if they will sell you the lever.

Just for clarification, it is called a railroad jack (some indication of its size would have been helpful), also described as a ratcheting screw bottle jack, or "journal" jack, specifically designed for very heavy applications. If it has no maker's marks you may have trouble pinning it down. But the shape of the handle may be helpful for comparisons. It looks like the handle might be broken at the bottom?

When I do google searches now, the first thing that comes up is an AI summary response. It will ask if you have any more information or photos, and you can prod it to find more specific answers.

For doing image searches, you can right click on the image you have and it will open another window where you can see similar images. Your experience may differ depending on which browser you use. I use Chrome.

Thanks. I just got my feet wet on the picture searching and it is very cool! I have also looked at my jack more and found a couple of, perhaps, useful pieces of info. See pics. Thanks again to all the responders. I am not at home base yet, but at least I feel in the game.
