Hi all, does anyone know who the maker is here?

The registered design number suggests England around 1958 but I can't tell from the photo who made it.

Cute guy, is he a shaker?

Maybe you could help out a bit. Can't quite make out the numbers or letters. I think the number begins with 8 and if it's an English registration number, with five digits I think it would date 1887 +/- . The letters/symbols below might be the maker or something else. Can you do a close up or tell us what they say?

My bad. Thought it had six digits. I'm definitely going to bed.:bag:

And thus another child, forced to sleep with this thing staring at them all night, became a victim of night terrors.;):shame:

Does that PINK, fancy shade really 'go with' the ugly monkey? :vomit:

Probably not, but it is the right time period.

Wondering if this is a medicinal lamp? Doesn't look like a regular burner.

So far I’ve seen a pug and an owl lamp with this same mark. They all have Kosmos Burners.

I know this isn't the OP's lamp but the example found.
Where I have the arrow appears to be glass. Looks like it is on top of the regular burner. And there isn't a regular glass chimney.

I was wondering if this is an attachment that might have been used as a vaporizer in a sick room.

I found glass cone burners, but they don't seem to be the same.
