Got a few more recently!

 

Was at an antique mall today ....

 

On November 2nd 1976 I parked high on a plateau in Yosemite, somewhere beyond the falls, in my '69 Chevy, Area 51, step side pickup with its new clamshell camper on it. It wasn't much more than a tent. (see photo from back then)
This was the day they had shut off all water to all campgrounds anticipating freezing temps.
Froze all night in the camper when the Coleman heater just wasn't enough.
Woke up to 2' of snow!!!
My truck drove out of there, and the park, like there wasn't any snow at all and she's NOT 4wd.
I just bought this card to recall that day.

Foucar's cafe... that thing in front of the cash register... I'll bet it's a cigar lighter.

Look up saloon gas cigar lighters. There was some stuff...

I have wondered if any of them were lost.

If any RR depot was to be grand that one surely should be!

 

I just started collecting vintage and antique postcards last week. I managed to find several bundles of them! These are the ones that stood out:
The first one is from 1902 (front and back)
Second is 1906 (front and back)
Third is 1913 (also front and back)
