Shield Back Chairs

    Hi Antiquers,
    I have some old shield back chair that I would like to sell, but I don't know if they are valuable, or just a yard sale item. I have 4 side chairs, they were recently reupholstered and have new pads. They do however need re-gluing at the leg joints.

    Anyone recognize these?

    Based on the one photo, I think probably 1940s dining chair. Would think under $100.00 for the set. That would be close to top retail here in my semi-rural Midwest location. You might do better or worse depending on your location and selling venue.
