I am unfamiliar with the markings on this kettle. It stands 3 3/4" tall and measures 6 1/2" across the top. Pretty heavy. Bottom has 1501 1 and other marks...Any help?

The logo in relief looks, at a quick glance, like a long-eared dog sitting upright in an iron pot while wearing a bow-tie. That would be fairly unique! Turning image 90 deg. CW same iron globs look more like "6 IN"

It does say 6 IN. Looks like there is a mark under that. Can't really tell what it is...a persons head with a crown? Hard to say.

No it is a winged piglet climbing the stairway to Heaven. Or more likely is just a sprue or riser location from the casting process.

I'm seeing either "SIX" or "6 IN"

Someone on a cast iron group said this was most likely a modern import
