Featured Sterling Cigarette Case Mark Help Please

Hi All,
no luck for me finding this mark, hoping someone will know it. Chinese characters on the back cover, maybe a signature? Do you think those are letters on the bamboo on the front? Also, there is a black spot on the inside cover that I haven't been able to remove, not sure what it would be.

No luck on finding a maker yet ,but perhaps it's of Japanese origin? Similar styled piece here:

It's has Kirihame Zogan inlay and probably in smith's name on the back.

 

I've seen this T O before, although I can't find it just now, of course. Japanese

 

I don't see the company mark,but the inlay maker's mark may be here.
