I don't understand what you're asking with post 5. Yes, there is color, as opposed to just black and white. But it does not look to me like the color was applied by hand. It was printed in color. Now, the colors may have faded over time, I suppose, but that doesn't change it's description from "printed" to "tinted."
Thank You. The surface has a textured feel ; Whether it's linen or simply "colored" paper, I do not know. I have always loved old postcards. It doesn't matter if they are made of linen or paper, hand tinted or colored with a crayon. Important Criteria: Unusual Theme and/or Design. My Personal Favorite postcard depicts Puck. Caption: "What Fools These Mortals Be."
