    Hello.
I've just acquired a small unusual cigarette lighter and would be interested to learn anything further about it.

The body appears to be made of green glass with golden filigree decorative leaves. The cap has similar filigree decoration. The chromed neck has the words 'Made in USA' stamped on. The lighter measures c.7cm high with a diameter of c.4cm.
Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that it's certainly no high quality article, but I would nevertheless be interested to find out whatever I can about it, and furthermore, whether such things are indeed collected nowadays.

    Thanks for any help !!

The mechanism is American, but the base and fitting may well not be. I'd have said Czech or French.

I have perfume bottles that look similar to this piece.

My bottles are more round while your glass portion tapers down to the bottom.

Mine also does not have the brass piece at the bottom.

The caps that have the daubers attached to both bottles have the identical design though.

The stickers on the bottom are marked "A Morlee Creation Made in U.S.A."

I will get a photo up of my bottles later today.:happy:

I found this on a Google search.

    http://czechperfumebottles.blogspot.com/p/manufacturers.html

Scroll about halfway down the page.

So it would seem the glass & filigree work was made in Czechoslovakia.

Does the lighter portion unscrew from the bottle portion?

That's the one !! The only difference seems to be that the glass on the cap of my lighter is faceted, as opposed to a cabochon-type glass on the Worthpoint example above. Anyway, sincere thanks for your efforts !!!!!

I just took the photos of my bottles & will post them later today.

One of my "stones" is faceted & the other is a cabochon.
