Can anyone tell me anything about this knife/dagger? It was left behind by the previous home-owner, found with lots of antique tools. It is approximately 20cm long. Handle is made from wood. Sheath is made from wood covered in a very thin lightweight metal. There is a stamp/mark on the blade.
Khanjar dagger...maybe Kurdish...... possible tourist item....maybe home made. The sheath has a home made , bench made , touch to it. I can't see the blade well enough to know , what or how good the steel is, but it does look like a working knife rather than a wall hanger..!
