Featured German or French Sword Mark on Vase?

    Thanks for looking.. One of a pair about 10" high. Many comps found with different marks and origns. Some say Kalk or French dating from early 20th century to late 20th.

    Ya, I saw that one too. Screenshot 2025-08-26 at 8.15.57 PM.png

    or a mark closer, but not same vase, same gilt and green. kalk.png

    Directly opposite the mark on the base looks like something was written in red. Anything identifiable?

    Red marks I tried could not make any sense of them.

    Looks like 'made in blah'
    Can't make out the second line. Last line looks like Chicago but can't see how that ties in.

    I see the first line as Made In France.

    Yeah I managed to contrive France out of it too. Apart from the first letter.
