Vintage 2000 Cheerios box

    The 2000 Cheerios Coin Promotion involved General Mills placing 10 million 2000 Lincoln cents and about 5,500 newly-minted Sacagawea dollars (some with a rare "prototype reverse" showing enhanced tail feathers) into Cheerios boxes to promote the new golden dollar, with these coins (especially the Sacagawea) becoming valuable collector's items, fetching thousands of dollars, particularly if still in their original sealed packaging with the certificate.

    I don't recall if I posted about the box or not. Apologies if I did. Still haven't found one yet.

    I even remember them being on the store shelves! I hate me.

    i missed the original post so not all bad mate ;) always worth knowing if something like this ever turns up

    (and also good learning all about american cereal's :hungry:)

    (i know your coca colas not bad anyway :woot:;) so might give some a try if i can)

    Lucky Charms are the best. Not good for us, but tasty.

    I have some boxes of that here.

    I vote for Fruit Loops Cereal as well. But they are not gluten free.
