Painting back (frame back)

    I had posted some time ago about a painting and replies inquired about the back. Here are pics of the back, what do they tell us? What is the ideal that one is looking for?

    Looks like linen not cotton, commonly available stretcher bars and possibly linen stretched by the artist as indentations were created by canvas pliers.

    Thanks @say_it_slowly , I thought I'd seen it before. Made me more inclined to say it was a factory painting. Indeed I think it is.

    I don't think this is a 'copy' per se, but possibly a similar painting.
    I think it's not a "fake" but cranked out in factory fashion.
