Welcome to the Forum, DarkAges! :)
People will need to see the signature and the back, please.

Without more information it is impossible to know the answers to your questions.

Is it signed by the artist? Can you read the artist's signature? What do you mean by "thrift store where I have some high end items" ? How would you plan on selling it? EBay? Etsy? Facebook? Brick and Mortar store? Have you ever sold artwork or anything else before?

And btw, a poll of this nature is useless in helping you determine how much something is worth.

There is a signature but I could not read (attached pic). I meant the shop gets some high end items, the frame also looked expensive (originally, broken now). The painting is oil and the painter seemed to know what they were doing.

The back did not appear to have any marking, ripped paper (covering the canvass). I am away from painting now but can take pic of the back when I return. Thanks for follow up.

Paintings of generic or nondescript areas by unidentified artists however well done rarely command more than decorative value. The presentation/frame would be a large part of the value and with a damaged frame it might be difficult to sell ...so I hope you like it a lot as it MAY be with you for some time.;)

Looks like the name could be Henry ____
I defer to @Jivvy for deciphering the rest!

Picture of the back? Is it white colored? Staples or nails?

    Nice shot, dude. :hilarious:

I'm already on the small screen for the evening, so I won't attempt to correct whatever mess you've made of the transcription. :joyful:

Hi and WELCOME to ANTIQUERS, @DarkAges!! To me, that's another indecipherable signature, but there are sometimes those who CAN figure them out, here!!! Just not me!!! Kind of an interesting 'woodsy' scene though!!
