Cloisonne vase - please help identify

Hi Everyone,

I have recently acquired this vase. After countless hours of researching I am not winning. I am still not sure if it is Japanese or Chinese. Seems that Japanese by designed but stamp on the bottom (if correctly translated by my coworker) -- Chinese. She translated it as” Made in Hunan Province”. I cannot date it either. The only thing I have learned that it is missing ring handles.

I am also including 3 photos of the stamp (rotated 90 degrees as I do not know correct orientation) as well as offered translation.

i always see these as being Champleve..???

 

it has no traditional shape and decoration. I'm afraid it's a modern piece

Ooops! It is champleve. About design - simple geometrical shapes - I thought it is characteristic for Japanese design.
Age wise - this vase had hard life - enamel in many cells is partially cleaved.

 

I can well imagine you thinking that. If we look closely at the piece, you can probably see that it is a machine-produced piece.

the brass is to shiny to be old and the dark bottom color looks artificaly made.if you brush a very small area with nail remover you will see that the patina disappears very easily.
