I'm trying to ID this maker's mark. I know it's MZ Czechoslovakia (or Altrahlou), but what year? I've looked on this webpage: https://www.theoldstuff.com/en/porcelain-marks/category/161-mz-austria-marks

But none of the marks look exactly like this. The closest I can see is the 1922-1945 mark, but my mark doesn't have the dots before and after the word "Czechoslovakia." I've looked on https://www.replacements.com/china-altrohlau-alt196/c/144024, and that appears to be the same pattern, but my mark says MZ Czechoslovakia, not Altrahlou. So ... can anyone help me determine what this china is and when it was made?

How can you tell? The post 1945 mark on theoldstuff.com has a different style of eagle.

Hi, I was looking to find out about a coffee set with the same mark (mine is brown) and ask what the numbers mean. Some items have the same number and others a different number.

This is a picture of the stamp in brown, and the number 15. Some the other items in the set have various other numbers as well as and other than 15. What is the reason for that? 20250918_174336.jpg And there's also a number lightly embossed, 1985-03 or possibly 05 - could that be the year of manufacture? 20250918_174336.jpg

It could be anytime between 1918 and 1993. The problem with MZ marks is that there were many MZ eagle marks, with minor or major variations, used between the those two dates. Most of the marks prior to 1945 were in green rather than brown. Usually the numbers like 7 and 45 were shape numbers. Different marks with different date ranges are not unusual in one set of china. The impressed marks are most often manufacturer codes used only inside the factory.
