"So here I am once more in the playground of the broken hearts One more experience, one more entry in a diary, self-penned Yet another emotional suicide overdosed on sentiment and pride" AH HAH! Now track down the band
It would be worth that here. We haven't had any precip in 5 weeks. The severe drought is still with us.
I’m completely with you on this @janetpjohn, we did try. I tried to message you but your settings won’t allow that. Shame as it killed an interesting thread stone dead. I typed a reply and then deleted it before posting as I didn’t want to sink to that level. You have nothing to apologise for!
I say quatro. If anyone is trying to make others feel less intelligent or worthy in any way, it is respectless, so against forum rules: 2 – . All Antique Forum members, young, old and in between, will treat all other members with respect and be civil at all times. https://www.antiquers.com/threads/the-rules.109/ Just a general reminder, there are ways of putting your point across that don't involve personal attacks. By putting others down, you put yourself down. Any point you wish to make is more powerful when refraining from insults, however veiled they may be put. Please enjoy the forum and all the wonderful knowledge and fun it has to offer.
I must have missed something too but I'm sorry if someone took a discussion inappropriately. I have always appreciated your knowledge. I can be incredibly dense at times and have appreciated your patience as I try and work through and get caught up on a discussion. Thank you for being here.
WARNING-RANT AHEAD! Not at all.. nor the thousands of us in the Rogue Valley who rely on reservoir water for irrigation of landscaping, grapes, hay, fruit trees, vegetable and grain crops, livestock production, wildlife and fish habitat, and hemp and pot. Even Harry and David Company abandoned their pear crops last summer and they've been shipping pears around the world since 1910. The irrigation district is still expecting me to pay my annual $265 irrigation bill though. I don't get it.. when people lose their electricity, it makes national news and crews are sent out in all sorts of severe weather to get things back up and running. When your water runs out, it's.. "Oh well, I hope it rains next winter". If the government can pipe oil all over the world, why not water? I'm done now, just ignore me, sorry....
If the powers that be could find a way too profit off and control water pipelines, theyd do it in a new york second. We are paying for recycling that they suspended months ago, with no time line to resume in sight, yet they still want the money. It all comes down to money.
Agree. The bigger picture is the collapse of agriculture in the West if something isn't addressed. You can only adapt so much when there is no water. That's going to be a very big money issue!
